Committees serve a number of important roles to our association and the Board of Directors:

• Committees serve as a conduit through which the board receives "grass root" input, opinions and suggestions on a variety of topics.
• Committees are a vehicle through which board actions are explained.
• Committees enhance the effectiveness of the board by providing research analysis and advice needed for policy decisions.
• Committees are an important linkage between the board and dealer community.
• Committees serve as a training ground for future association leaders.

NOPA has committees on a variety of subjects relevant to the office products and office furniture dealer community. Chaired by a member of the IOPFDA Board of Directors, the alliance's parent entity, these are comprised of dealers, manufacturers and service providers that play an active role relevant to the subject and are committed and active in identifying issues, developing strategies and overseeing implementation for the betterment of the industry and the dealer community.

NOPA is always looking for representatives from both member manufacturers and dealerships who are willing to serve on one of our committees. Limited not just to company presidents, any member of the association; be it a sales rep, designer, CFO or manager; if you have an interest, special skill that makes you and ideal candidate, or if you know someone who should be on one of our committees, we want you!
